THE I3 JOURNAL PROMOTES SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AMONG UNDERGRADUATES AND SHOWCASES THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

“I3 Undergraduate Research Journal” is a publication about the investigation done by undergraduate students at Engineering UC. Its purpose is to promote interest on scientific research among undergraduates and to show their contributions to the development of science and technology. The journal, not only talks about the experiences of research students, but also instates others to participate in further studies.

Each version of the printed editions reach more than 1,500 people, including teachers, students, business managers, consultants, and executives from various institutions and research centers. The journal production is run by a group of students led by faculty.

Six editions have already been published. Along with each new publication, a ceremony is made in order to encourage the involvement of new students. On the fifth version release ceremony, on August 2015, teachers and students were recognized for their contributions to the publication.
