Ken Singer was part of the Faculty Team of the

NEW COURSE “RESEARCH, INNOVATION, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP”, LAUNCHED ON MARCH 2015

Ken Singer, distinguished entrepreneur and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (CET) at University of California, Berkeley, visited the School of Engineering UC and joined diverse activities related to entrepreneurship and innovation.

The new course “Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship”, developed in collaboration with CET at Berkeley University, was launched on march 2015. The ceremony counted with numerous academics including Ken Singer, Nicolás Shea, Alfonso Cruz, Jorge Sanz-Guerrero, and César Sáez. Carolina Arce, David Law, and Ricardo San Martín, who will coordinate the logistics of the course in California were also present in the event.

Dean de la Llera opened the first class of the course with the following words: “One of the hardest activities that one can do in life is to be an entrepreneur. It is complicated and frustrating, but suddenly you see that light that makes everything worth the effort. This is going to be the hardest course in the School, by far. But the experience that you are going to live will be as real as possible. Your effort will be essential”.
